Pop culture has influenced me a lot during all my life. I consider myself, like most other people, to have always been persuaded from fashion, popular music, sport, or even entertainment events. It could also be touristic places in our own or other countries. I think that from the beginning until the end of our lives, we will interact with people who have different ideas and preferences than ours. As a result, we will develop a variety of thoughts, beliefs, and lifestyles. This could be achieved little by little or all the sudden and made you feel part of the society.
For instance, foreign people like me, when arrive to a different city, your life changes. One of the challenges that I first faced it’s the capacity of adaptation to new customs and lifestyles. In my case, first, in this country, I adopted its popular music, seeking for to learn English through its messages, and I confess I like it. In addition, I have tried to get all the styles that I have seen during my stay in Chicago. Moreover, I always think in McDonalds when I am hungry, even Starbucks when I want a cup of coffee. I like to test new and different ways to live, and consequently, to be part of a society in which popular culture is so important.
